Cousin Bonnie - Not a Parrot, But We Love Her Anyway -  ----      (narrated by "Bubba")

In early February 2006, Mom and Dad went to visit the "rellies" in Australia.  This trip they even got to fly up to beautiful Ballina (in New South Wales) and visit Aunt Sheila and Uncle Laurie.  Best of all, they met the lovely "Bonnie", our canine cousin from down under!

Here's Bonnie herself, relaxing with Sheila and her very own football.

Mom and Dad were there at "tea time" and Bonnie waited patiently while the humans had their treats.  Then she graciously assisted with cleaning up the crumbs.

Bonnie is especially fond of "lamingtons", a wonderful cake treat with toppings that just makes your mouth water.

Of course, being the lady she is, she's careful not to allow any crumbs to remain on her dainty nose or lips.

Who can resist this look?

Here's Cousin Bonnie working her charm on Aunt Sheila.  That sad, sweet face.  Who could blame us if we slipped another lamington onto her plate?

The fuzzy toy next to her is a goody I had Mom and Dad take her from America.  It's an authentic replica stuffed beaver, complete with squeeky box inside.
